The public is invited to the National Servicemen’s Association memorial near the Tamworth Train Station on Marius St for the service, where wreaths will be laid and tributes to the fallen will be made as part of the 66th anniversary of National Service in Australia.
Don Smith, the secretary of the Tamworth Association, urged community members to come along to the service, or lay a wreath to mark the anniversary.
Member for Tamworth, Kevin Anderson will speak at the service with other local dignitaries invited to pay their respects.
