This what Professor Robert E. Kelly posted on Twitter shortly after appearing in a BBC television interview that took a surprising but humorous twist. And yes, the clip of the interview has gone viral.

Professor Kelly was in what appears to be a home office being interviewed about the impeachment of South Korean president Park Geun-hye when some background guests joined the broadcast.

First, a yellow-skivvied toddler opens the door, gleefully prances into the study and curiously stands next to Professor Kelly just as he comments "scandals happen all the time, and the question is how do democracies respond to those scandals?"

"And what will it mean for the wider region...," BBC World presenter James Menendez starts to ask. "...I think one of your children has just walked in."

Professor Kelly, appearing remarkably composed if slightly irritated, tries to push the child away - but wait, there is another one. A baby in a walker somehow manages to join the fun.

While Professor Kelly seems willing to persevere, a woman hurls around the corner and into the room.

In a flurry, she grabs the two children and ushers them out of the room, knocking what may be some strategically placed books off a table in the process.

"Pardon me," Professor Kelly, who is a Professor of Political Science at Pusan University in South Korea, laughs as the crying starts in the background.

"My apologies, my apologies," he repeats before closing his eyes.

After managing to bump the baby in the hefty walker and pull the now lying down toddler out of the study, the heroic woman can be seen on her knees, pulling the door shut behind them.

The wailing continues, but Professor Kelly, ever the professional, continues with the live interview.

"There's a first time for everything," Menendez comments.

"I think you've got some children who need you."

Shortly after, a Twitter user asked Professor Kelly if he could share the interview. Professor Kelly responded: "What would that mean, please? Re-broadcasting it on BBC TV, or just here on Twitter? Is this kinda thing that goes viral' and gets weird?"

The clip of the interview has been picked up by news outlets around the globe, and it has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times on YouTube alone.

On Friday, South Korea's democratically elected leader was impeached after a historic unanimous verdict by the eight-judge panel of South Korea's Constitutional Court. There have been angry protests in response, with two people dying.
