“Transport and logistics is an amazing industry in which to work,” Ms Hemmings said.
“My message is, have a genuine interest in meeting a customer’s needs, show it by doing that little bit extra to help meet needs by being flexible, patient and ethical and having a passion for your industry.
“Strive for continuous improvement through ongoing learning. Attend industry conferences and seminars to recharge, listen to motivational speakers and apply the lessons they impart.
“Set yourself business and personal goals and never be scared to try something new and dare to be different.”

The belles at Tamworth’s historical Old Bell Tower provide a warm welcome accompanied by the delicious Campos roasted beans or a classic T2 English breakfast.
Home-made scones are always a must have if you are meeting with friends.
The cafe and gift shop is a converted church on Marius Street, owned locally by John and Vicki Usher.
You can browse inside before heading into the restored, shaded gardens for a quiet tete a tete.
“We offer all day breakfast and coffee deals as well as the convenience of an all day kitchen open to 5pm,” accounts manager Rylee Usher said.
“You can order lunches, light meals or enjoy our range of sweets and classic favourites.
“T2 and Campos beans are available to purchase to the public.
“Parking is at the rear of building. Feel free to browse, have a coffee or book your next function in the leafy garden or vestry.”
