Whata Rogers has spent time in Sydney playing for Randwick and brings a wealth of knowledge to the combine.
"Pre-season is always a bit of a struggle for us, but we had a session at Glencoe on Thursday with the new coach Whata Rogers,” vice-president Sam Price said.
If we can stay away from injuries and we can keep getting the boys to training we have a good chance to be a lot more competitive than we have been.

"It was a good opportunity to meet him and have a bit of a yarn to him.
"He is super switched on, coming from Randwick, a lot of experience there.
"We are really looking forward to what he brings to the club this season and I think it is shaping up, we should have plenty of players.”
The season starts on March 25 with the Glen Innes-Guyra side taking on the premiers, St Albert’s College.
Price estimates the former Ghosts and Elks clubs will contribute 12-16 players each, giving them enough numbers to be a force.
