Tamworth Hospital is the worst in the state for some postnatal care experiences, according to a new report
I disagree - cannot believe how negative a lot of people are towards it - the clinics may need some work but there are over 1000 babies born here every year. I had my bub in late Sept at one of the busiest times - the midwives I had during labor were amazing and if you had seen the way the nurses were running all night from patient to patient then you would cut them a little slack. Yes there are always going to be negatives but our nurses and drs are humans too. They may need more staff but the ones that are there are amazing.

We are often quick to focus on the negative and forget all the good stories. I've recently experienced several visits to both emergency, children's ward & out patients services over the past month with my daughter and I applaud the level of service and care we were provided from the nurses, Drs & admin staff at the hospital. Well done and let's not forget what an amazing service they all provide for our community and under many extreme circumstances- thank you.

I find this interesting. My experience 10mths ago at Tamworth was a positive one. In an unexpected situation the staff were all very helpful and provided the care we needed.

I had my daughter there just after the new maternity ward opened and i dont have a bad thing to say. The facilities were amazing and the staff were even better. It was such a lovely experience and the staff deserve so much respect!

Nothing but excellent care every time I've been there. That's ED, maternity and the prenatal clinic.

Special children's ward nurses. Unbelievable, cannot talk more positively about them.
