The ruckman is among a list of eight inclusions for the JLT Community Series match against GWS Giants at Blacktown.
Naismith, who enjoyed a breakout season in 2016, playing 12 games and featuring in Sydney’s grand final side, is not the only big man returning.
Callum Sinclair has also been included in the 29-strong line-up.
Sinclair and Naismith are each returning from injury, with Naismith undergoing surgery on his shoulder and finger during the off-season.
The Swans have also benefited from the return of Lance Franklin, Heath Grundy and Dane Rampe, who will all play their first match of the pre-season.
Young forward Will Hayward has also been named to debut in the red and white.
Sydney’s first match of the AFL season proper is against Port Adelaide at the SCG on March 25.
