The Harbour City is the venue for this year’s NSW Country Championships and the Tamworth club will be strongly represented at the three-day event.
For the first time in more than a decade 360 Scully Park will have more than 10 swimmers making a splash at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.
The Maroons will field 12 swimmers at the long-course event, across 28 events and four relays.
The Country Championships are the culmination of hours of preparation and competition from the team.
360 Scully Park coach Pedro Barbosa has been delighted with the commitment shown by the club’s swimmers.
“We have a young group attending Olympic Park this weekend,” Barbosa said.
“I’m confident we will see some strong results.
“Competitions such as these are important in a swimmer’s development as they help build a strong foundation for future performance.
“The kids have all put in a huge effort over recent weeks and I am very proud of them.”
Amelia Fauchon, 13, has the busiest individual campaign of any 360 Scully Park swimmer, featuring in nine events.
Fauchon tackles the 100m breaststroke, 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle, 100m and 200m butterfly, 200m individual medley, 200m breaststroke while in the state capital.
Courtney Mulligan, 11, has eight events, including two relays.
Mulligan will feature alongside Chloe Mulligan, Grace Edgecock and Meghan Andren in the 12 years and under 200m medley and freestyle relays.
That is in addition to a campaign which features the 50m and 100m freestyle, 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke, and 50m breaststroke.
New England-North West Area age champions Chloe Mulligan, 9, and Amy Cantrill, 14, also feature in the Scully Park team.

GUNNEDAH will be represented by a squad of eight swimmers in Sydney.
Mikaela Meyers (17) will contest the open 50m freestyle and backstroke and the 17 and over 100m and 200m backstroke, while Jackson Carr will compete in the 14 years 100m breaststroke, freestyle and butterfly, the open 50m freestyle and 13-14 years individual medley.
Liam Novley (16) will compete for the first time at the championships in the 100m breaststroke, with Rebecca McLean (12), Amelia Lush (10) and Maddie Coombs (14) set to gain valuable experience in the open 50m freestyle.
Fifteen-year-old Zoe Palmer will also make her debut after for the 15-16 years 100m butterfly and open 50m butterfly.
Chloe Sumpter is in the 12 years 100m breaststroke and the open 50m freestyle.
