More than 250 swimmers from 20 clubs across the district made a splash at Scully Park Pool on Saturday and Sunday.
Armidale finished at the top of the pointscore, but it was runner-up Tamworth City which supplied the most age champions.
City had seven swimmers crowned as the best of their respective age groups.
Lyndell Boschma was the top female open swimmer.
Mikaela Short broke a series of meet records on the way to taking out the 13 years female age champion prize, while Evelia Lantz (11 girls) and Amelia Simm (10 girls) starred in the water.
Tamworth City’s three male leading lights were Josh Carter (open), Maxwell Rumble (12 years) and Brinez Lantz (13 years).
Host club 360 Scully Park supplied three top swimmers, all coming in the female division.
Tilani Smith starred in the eight years, with Chloe Mulligan the top performer in the nine years girls and Amy Cantrill in the 14 years.
Gunnedah had a fruitful campaign, finishing third overall and supplying two top swimmers for their age group in Jackson Carr (14 male) and Liam Novley (16 male).
Narrabri’s presence as a heavyweight of the NENW scene was highlighted by 21 competitors delivering a fourth-place finish, headlined by the performances of Angus Ciesiolka and Toby Michel-Smith.
Consistency was the key for Armidale.
Three Alligators in Lucy Fenwicke (15 girls), Miller Harwood (nine boys) and Mitch Hayden (15 boys) finished as age champions.
