After winning the toss and electing to bat, Tamworth posted a formidable total of 6-168 from its 40 overs.
Rob Kahler (31 retired) and Greg Kellett (30 retired) headlined a quality batting display, with opener Chriss Crowell also in good touch before falling on 25.
Terry Murphy (21) and Mike Cashman (17) provided valuable cameos through the latter overs.
Mid North Coast never looked likely in the chase as the Tamworth attack bowled with wonderful accuracy.
Steve Beaton and Greg Kellett provided the one-two punch.
Beaton produced an inspired spell to take 4-18 from seven overs, while Kellett proved a great foil, returning figures of 3-22.
Murphy (1-10), Cashman (1-2) and Laurie Johnson (1-16) all featured among the wickets as MNC was bowled out for 92 in the 34th over.
The match was a good lead-up for the members of the Tamworth side playing in the Over-50s carnival at Port Macquarie on February 23-24.
