The McClymonts – Brooke, Mollie and Sam – have kicked 2017 off the right way.
Earlier this month they released their new album, Endless, which they told The Leader is a reflection of the stages they are at in their lives.
With new babies, television roles and their latest release gaining momentum – The McClymonts will begin their national Endless tour at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre from 7pm Wednesday.
The sisters say we can expect to hear some of their newly-released music, with the album topping both the country and mixed charts, along with some of their greatest hits.
It addition to their Wednesday night gig, the sisters will perform at the Golden Guitar Awards, which they said was the icing on the cake to another trip to their “second home”.
“I think the charts have spoken to us - number one on country and number three on mainstream ARIAs,” Mollie said of the latest release.
“So people have gone out and bought it and it’s been nothing but positive, beautiful messages so far.
“Country music fans are amazing,” Brooke added. “We want to thank everyone really, [the feedback has] been so good.”
The album gives fans an insight into what the women have been up to since their latest release more than two years ago. It also features a track with Ronan Keating, which has been their most downloaded song from the album.
Back in Tamworth for another festival show, The McClymonts say they’re looking forward to a great gig ahead.
“I feel like the year just flies and we are here again every year - it’s our second home,” Brooke said.
“It’s the kick off to the year - it’s a huge year for us - we’re touring with the brand new album. We have six months of solid touring so this is the big launch for us,” Mollie said.
Sam said TRECC was one of their favourite venues.
“We’ve done it here before and we just feel so comfortable - the stage and the sound guys - it is all so amazing. You feel like you walk in and know this place so well, you know you’re going to have a good show and it feels good,” she said.
“At the end of the day it is so exciting as a musician to add songs to your repertoire and hopefully because we’re excited, the fans are too,” Brooke said. “I feel like there’s so much on social media, everyone knows each other’s back story now so to go and sing about what people can relate to they connect with that.”
“It goes to show in country music, what people relate to they tend to like,” Mollie said.
