St Johns TCMF Event Commander Peter Cameron has warned that while it is common for people to experience heat related illnesses at festivals it is something that should not be taken lightly.
“It is particularly important that people are keeping safe, and staying cool in the heat,” CDR Cameron said.
“Remember to drink enough water, stay safe in the sun, and look out for your friends.”
There will be 20 St Johns staff operating throughout the festival, with First Aid Posts stationed around busy venues as well as bicycle emergency response teams and ambulances.
