As the community rallies for the Club’s staff and volunteers, fire officials have told The Leader they believe they have found the cause of the devastating blaze.
“Investigators have been able to narrow it down to an area somewhere around the power boards,” Liverpool Range Rural Fire Service Inspector Tim Butcher said.
"There is nothing to indicate that the fire is suspicious.

“We think it started somewhere around there.
“There is nothing to indicate that the fire is suspicious.”
Inspector Butcher said fire crews monitored the blaze over Wednesday night, with a “couple of hot spots” threatening to flare up.
RFS crews would now hand the property back to the Willow Tree Bowling Club, who Inspector Butcher said, would now have to decontaminate the site.
It’s understood the building contained asbestos.
Crews rushed to the scene about 5pm on Tuesday after neighbours saw smoke rising from the roof of the club.
“This is a a timely reminder that fires can happen at any time and it just highlights how easily they can happen,” Inspector Butcher said.
“The RFS recommend people have a bush fire survival plan, to work out what to do in case of fire, or if it’s approaching their properties.”
