Werris Creek librarian, Marilyn Deeks, said Cody provides a fun way to get kids thinking like a programmer.
“When the kids see Cody do one of his dances, it makes them think about how every little movement is programmed.
“A lot of thought has gone into Cody and Sphero and introducing children to robotics is just another of the ways our libraries keep up with the times and help to educate young people in interesting ways,” she said.
The sessions will run between 11am and 4pm.
You can call Werris Creek library on 6768 7340, or Quirindi on 6746 2350, to confirm your place.
“I’d also like to remind people that the Australian Inspiration exhibition, which reveals how the unique beauty of Australia's native flora and fauna has long inspired artists and designers, concludes at Werris Creek library on Thursday 12 January,” Ms Deeks said.
