The funding will be used to paint the interior of the hall, sand and polish the floor and upgrade the toilets.
“The Hall is a great venue for our region and this funding will help ensure it is a part of our community for years to come,” Member for Barwon Kevin Humphries said.
The funding is part of the Community Building Partnerships program, a NSW Government initiative which aims to create more vibrant communities by supporting projects that deliver positive social, environmental, inclusive or recreational outcomes.
This year a total of $300,000 has been awarded to projects across the Barwon Electorate for the enhancement of community facilities.
