The trio will play for one of the four NSW teams at the National U17s Youth 7s Championships, Morley and Duncan for the NSW White boys and Byers the NSW White girls, which she will also captain,
The tournament will involve the best U17s talent from NSW, Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, as well as the Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team, which will feature Tamworth’s Dylan Clark.
NSW heads in as both the reigning boys and girls National Youth champions, and NSW boys assistant coach, Gerard McLenaghan is excited by the capabilities of the team.
“It is by far the most balanced team we could have put together with a sound balance of size, speed, playmaking ability and real work horses,” McLenaghan said with the players being scouted from various tournaments over the past nine months.
