THE organisers of the Flash Jam fundraiser are jumping for joy after $7000 was raised on the weekend.

The funds will assist their mate and legendary musician Peter ‘Flash’ Sheedy to restore his Currabubula studio which was lost to adverse weather and white ants some years ago.
The fundraiser was held at the Currabubula Pub on Sunday with organiser Jodie Crosby paying tribute to Kathy Dodd and Wayne Smith and their staff for helping out.
“I can’t thank everyone involved and everyone who came enough for their generosity,” Crosby told The Leader.
Local businesses came on board to donate prizes including, Wests Entertainment group, The Pub Group, The Cattlemans Steakhouse,The Albert Hotel, Mary T Hair Services and Country Music Capital News. Artists and friends who donated merchandise for raffle prizes were Sally-Anne Whitten, Clel Adams,Wendy Wood, Kerry Walsh and Mike Casey, Mick Souter, Wanita, Susan Wellman,Brenda Townsend and Bob McCluand.
Auction prizes were donated by Andrew Richardson, Lawrie Minson, Michael Parsons, Gary Dempsey, Peter Langston, The Coutmans Dave Alexander.
Musicians and artists on the day included Randall Wilson, Andrew Richardson, Rob Brown, Dally Croft , Charley Rivers, Glen Crosby, Red Hot Poka dots, Sam Bellamy and Ray Pratley Kerry and Mike, Nick Croft, Gary Dempsey, Jess Page, Wanita, Rudy and Jo and Anthony Baxter Baxter.
