The Regional Australia Bank Junior Grand Final Day will decide the champions across the various divisions in both the primary and high school competitions.
TBA administrator Peter McDonald said it’s the fourth time they’ve run all the finals on the one day in a gala format, and that the games will all take place on Courts 2, 3 and 4 to create a carnival-like atmosphere.
St Ed’s Jaguars and Calrossy Asteriods (¾ boys B), Calrossy Neptunes and St Ed’s Moggies (¾ girls) and Calrossy Rockets and TPS Warriors (5/6 boys B) will be the first sides to hit the courts at 9am, with the last of the 16 games to be contested over the day being played at 1pm.
St Ed’s figure prominently with six teams qualifying for the finals.
Two of those will be in the ¾ boys B final where the Leopard’s will face off against the Mountain Lions.
McCarthy dominate the high school finals with seven teams in title contention.
