The Kookaburras were a batsman short on Saturday as they wobbled at 3-46 before crashing to 48 all out.
Court House strengthened its position, reaching 1-93 at stumps with Ben Haire and captain Matt Brady well set after Jay Urquhart dominated the early part of the run chase.
Anthony Daniels was Court House’s main hero with five wickets for four runs, while Alex Beasley claimed 2-2. Opening bowlers Farran Lamb (1-3 from seven overs) and Ben Irwin (1-16 from seven overs) set the platform.
Daniels, who bowled one batsman and had four caught, said it was a case of “being patient, and hitting the right spot”.
Daniels alluded to landing the ball “on that short-of-a-length sort of area” as the pitch was a bit up-and-down, while conditions were humid as there was also a cross breeze.
