Reserve grade players Andrew Harvey and Kyle Adams from Narrabri, along with North Tamworth’s Chris Cutmore-Berry will face up to contrary conduct charges stemming from the match, while Cutmore-Berry and Harvey are still to front a hearing for their post game melee.
Sean Nean will also face the judiciary tonight in regards to allegedly headbutting a North Tamworth player, but has had his hearing regarding an incident with referee James Brown postponed by the committee.
Group 4 president Mick Schmiedel said that the Group is seeking further advice as the incident is also a matter for the courts.
The committee is also talking to the Narrabri Blues on Thursday night and the West Lions next week in regards to the behaviour of some players, spectators and officials at the grand final.
“We need everyone to take responsibility for their actions and stop trying to blame others,” Schmiedel said.
Last week five other Lions players faced the panel with two cleared, one suspended sentence, a six week suspension, and a 20 year ban for Nean’s brother Matt, who has hired a barrister to appeal the sentence after he too was charged with making contact with Brown.
