Kernaghan, one of Australia’s most prominent contemporary country music artists,is set to return to Tamworth with his ‘The Boy From the Bush’ 25th Anniversary Show on January 26.
The Australia Day extravaganza will be held at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre where Kernaghan will celebrate the anniversary of the launch of his career from which hits Boys from the Bush and The Outback Club were born.
This will be Kernaghan’s one and only concert performance at the Festival with tickets going on sale this week.
“Lee is one of the all-time greats of Australian country music and there’s no better place than the Toyota Country Music Festival for fans to join Lee at what will be a historic event,” Festival manager Barry Harley said.
The show promises to feature 25 years of smash hits and will include surprise guest appearances by a ‘who’s who’ of Kernaghan’s musical mates and legends.
Kernaghan’s latest announcement follows a line of early ticket launches from Festival HQ with Troy Cassar-Daley, the McClymonts and bluegrass band The Pigs among the list of stars to announce their 2017 gigs.
