TRIBUTES are flowing from far and wide for a young girl who tragically died after she was pulled from the Armidale’s Dumaresq Creek on Sunday afternoon.

Despite frantic attempts by witnesses and emergency services, the three-year-old was rushed to Armidale hospital but doctors were unable to revive her.
Armidale police confirmed on Monday the young girl had died.
Investigators will now prepare a report for the coroner into the circumstances surrounding the little girl’s death.
Locals have posted tributes online, devastated at the tragic accident.
“A lovely sunny day at the park turned into something so tragic," Bianca-Dale Halloran wrote on Facebook.
"I have a 2 yr old [sic] myself and seeing this all unfold [on Sunday] was awful and tragic.
"I feel for the parents of this young girl, a nice afternoon at the park turned their lives upside down in the blink of an eye."

The scenes shocked many families who were out enjoying the Sunday sunshine.
"There were a lot of people in the park [on Sunday] as it was a nice sunny day which ended in a very heartbreaking tragedy," Helen Stace said.
Emergency services tried to shield the tragedy unfolding from nearby families, but one witness reported seeing a person perform CPR on the child before she was rushed to hospital.
“Poor young 3yo [sic] girl stumbled into the creek and no one noticed until it was too late,” Nicole Wilson wrote on Facebook.
"Unfortunately many young kids saw it including my own."
“So so sad, my thoughts are with her family and friends and all involved,” Kate Johnson said.
"That is sad news. Thinking of how difficult & sad it must be tonight for her family," Kylie Steel said.
“So heartbreaking, my heart goes out to her & her family,” Tanya Froome posted online.
