Armidale Regional Council has approved the transfer of land to be included in the sale of a package of land owned by Lyndon and Des Hardman.
Proceeds from this sale will be donated to the Australian.
Lyndon Hardman said it was great to have Council’s support.
“This is a big step forward,” he said.
Acting Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce viewed some of the vehicles on a visit to Armidale on Thursday.
Once established, the museum will house everything from horse drawn vehicles and military transport to motoring memorabilia.
