Last week the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health brought a team of occupational therapy students to Walhallow Public School.
The students were involved in a range of activities, including learning about wheelchairs; engaging in hand-eye co-ordination games by throwing balls and jumping on mini trampolines; and manipulating putty.
The students had a great time learning about the activities and resources available to assist people in their recuperation from physical and mental illnesses.
