Calrossy successfully argue the point

Congratulations to our Year 5 debating team who won at the recent HRIS debating competition in Newcastle. The team of (from left) Leila Ryan, Sophie Doran, Larisa Smyth and Sophia Hanson won their debate, against St Phillip's Christian College, as the affirmative for the topic that "NSW should introduce a pollution tax on all disposable plastic goods." Great work girls! Well done also to the Year Six team of Joshua Riggien, Tahlia Barwick, Will Jarrett and Liam Burke, who lost their debate by the narrowest of margins.
