More than 3000 companies will participate in the 44th annual event held next month with many new agricultural companies, many from overseas, joining this year’s line-up.
Over 100,000 visitors are also expected to attend AgQuip which plays a vital role in Australian agriculture and showcases and demonstrates a vast range of new products and services, highlights new technology and innovation and provides information to professionals on the land.
Fairfax Rural Events Group Manager Kate Nugent believes visitors to this year’s event will be pleasantly surprised at the number of improvements.
“The simple grid pattern of the purpose-built AgQuip site makes it one of the best in Australia for visitors and includes special areas for demonstrations which, this year, with additional activity planned, will be bigger than ever,” she said.

Traffic management updates will enhance the event’s car parking arrangements, with the introduction of courtesy shuttle buses in the car parks to help visitors make their way to the entrances on to the display grid.
Organisers will also have shuttle buses to help visitors navigate around the site. The AgQuip Shuttle Bus will provide a free service stopping at major road junctions but also as a ‘hail and ride’ service.
“This service will be limited to older visitors and those with a genuine need and children will only be able to ride if accompanied by an adult,” Ms Nugent said.
AgQuip is the nation’s biggest showcase of agri-products and allows companies the chance to talk directly with the people who use the products and services on sale. The field days will be held 16,17 and 18 August.
