A RUGBY league player will be sentenced next month after admitting to supplying drugs in Walcha. Aaron Luke Ison pleaded guilty to two counts of supplying a prohibited drug, namely 1g of methylamphetamine and 28 ecstasy tablets.

Officers were patrolling a Croudace St hotel about 11.30pm on February 5 when they stopped and searched Ison. The 35-year-old, who lives in Wauchope, was found with the 28 tablets in his possession and arrested at the scene. He will be sentenced in October.
