In the recent Werris Creek Triples, a CNDBA Bowler of the Year Award event, the North Tamworth trio of Graeme Cameron, Phil O'Reilly and Paul Eggers were successful.
Their club's Men's Pairs Carnival is being held August 13.
As of Tuesday there were just four spots left in a CNDBA Bowler Of The Year Award event that carries $2000 in prizemoney.
In local North Tamworth club news, Luke Russell won his third club singles title in the last four years. He beat Graeme Pennell in the final, with Pennell making his championship final debut.
Pennell and Phillip Walters are playing in the Zone 3 Reserve Pairs Playoffs at South Tamworth Bowling Club. .
Kootingal's Craig O'Toole and Anthony Berry will represent the CNDBA in the Open Pairs after O'Toole beat Berry in their club Singles Final 31-25.
Kootingal's Bryon Cullen is also celebrating success after he won the Zone 3 Senior Singles in Armidale last weekend while Kootingal has its Men's Pairs Carnival this weekend as well.
Tamworth City's Ian Bannister and Greg Roese are the CNDBA representatives in the Zone 3 Senior Pairs at South while Tamworth City will stage its Over 55 Pairs Carnival this Wednesday.
The CNDBA Club Champion of Champions Singles and Pairs entries close August 10 while the Rookies entries close next Friday.
