Kiara Erickson, Emily Daw and Erica Bizant did a wonderful job delivering their speeches.
We are very proud of the girls as they did their best and according to Mrs Rake "an awesome job".
Thanks to Mrs Rake for coordinating the event and assisting with transport.
On Wednesday June 8 the NAIDOC activities were in full swing.
The children participated in art, badge making, story telling and dance workshops before having a sausage sizzle lunch.
After lunch, we were entertained by our visiting performer, Shaun Choolburra.
The NAIDOC celebrations culminated in a Cultural Excursion for years 3-6 on Friday.
The children visited culturally relevant sites around the district before joining students from other schools for lunch at Pine Ridge Hall.
Thanks to Megan Outerbridge, the Quirindi High School Aboriginal education assistant, for her coordination of this event.
