The day was the culmination of six weeks training and preparation led by Father Vic, parish catechists and St Joseph's staff.
Congratulations to all who received the sacrament and to their families.
The same week St Joseph's welcomed religious education coordinators from around the diocese for their term meeting.
This was another wonderful opportunity to showcase to the diocese the wonderful learning happening at St Joseph's every day.
As a school community we can be very proud of our school.
Friday's June 3 Pupil Free Day saw the teaching staff of St Joseph's travel to Tamworth for professional learning.
We were joined by staff from McCarthy Catholic College, St Xavier's Gunnedah, St Michael's Manilla and the three Tamworth Catholic primary schools in developing our core beliefs in the Catholic values and principles that must be evident in all teaching programs.
