Out of this planning will come three or four words that will become the Carroll Pubic School expectations.
After brainstorming words that describe how we want our school to look, feel and sound like, we came up with the following words: respect, enjoyable, winners, learning, laughter, confident, friendly and teamwork.
Parents will be asked to vote on the words they think will be the best expectations for our students and school.
Welcome
We welcome Craig Fermor as our relieving general assistant.
I would like to thank Ray Woodhead for the outstanding work he has done to ensure our grounds and gardens look neat, welcoming and beautiful.
Craig is learning the ropes as our GA so that we have a couple of relieving GA's to call upon when Don Keith is on leave.
A belated happy birthday to Mr Keith who turned 81 recently.
Bunnings visit
A school working bee has been set for 10am Saturday, June 18, in readiness for the Bunnings visit on Thursday June 23.
A skip has been ordered to arrive a week before the working bee. Bunnings will work with our students on composting and are kindly donating plants for our native garden.
Healthy Harold
Our students enjoyed spending Thursday May 26 with Somerton PS students while participating in activities such as performing arts, sport, art and Life Education with Healthy Harold.
