A power outage for the duration of their fancy-dress disco didn't deter pupils of the 34-student school last Thursday.
They improvised, and dressed in everything from action heroes, robots and princesses through to Jack Frost, Harry Potter and zombies.
They danced away to the flicker of light from a torch and mobile phones, according to school principal Sue O'Connor.
"The power was out for nearly one hour - the duration of our disco. One of the dads though went home and brought back a generator to help out," she said.
They had no music at times either, but again they improvised by making their own music with "vocal versions of the Chicken Dance and Hokey Pokey" led by the teachers.
"We also had games that didn't need music. The outage completely interrupted our internet. We didn't get it back until about 12pm the next day."
And while it was a TV/movie characters theme disco, the darkness added a real touch of excitement for the students.
"It turned out to be a bit of a spooky disco, they all had a great time. And the power came back on just in time to heat up the hot dogs for a delicious supper," Mrs O'Connor said.
