EVERY Saturday at 1pm 12 Hillvue Public School girls meet at the Tamworth Sports Dome to play a game that they love; netball. These girls played in 11/12B grade until their speed, teamwork and co-ordination, and the difference in scores were noticed by the Tamworth Netball Association and the superstars were moved up to 11/12A grade.

Hillvue Hotshots meet twice a week for training, which demonstrates to the coaches and staff their motivation to play netball and commitment to the sport.
During training the girls are exposed to drills that assist them with their netball skills, fitness levels, and of course the odd game of 'who can shoot better than Miss Reading, Mrs Van Aanholt or Ms Shumack'.
Playing netball for the school provides the students with opportunities to develop their teamwork skills, meet new people, improve their fitness and, of course, have a laugh.
This group of girls have already achieved so much within a short amount of time.
Including being moved up to A grade in the local Tamworth competition, competing in the schools cup on May 19 and winning all four of their games and successfully moving on to the next round of PSSA knockout after winning against Kootingal. What an achievement?
The Hillvue Hotshots are already demonstrating sportsmanship, their ability to play as a team and great netball skills.
These combined, and a icy pole reward after each win, have helped this team to have a very successful start to the season.
The coaches, staff and cheer squad enjoy watching these girls play, pom poms and all, and everyone could not be more proud or excited for what is to come.
Let's go Hillvue Hotshots.
The team is: Kirrawan Duckett, Kiana Duckett, Latia Duckett, Kiani Haines, Bianca Marshall, Kida Schlennet, Montanna Hughes, Sarah Power, Tykeah Atkinson, Makia Johnson, Meleah Cook and Janaya Sampson.
