The judge, Mr John Shields from Richmond who also demonstrates at the Currabubula Red Cross Art Show on the same weekend, was very impressed with the artwork and made many positive comments throughout the judging.
Congratulations to the overall winner of the Small School Art Show which was an abstract piece of artwork by Ethan Campbell and Alex Nibbering.
The peoples' choice prize was won by Joanne Tuckwell who entered a striking piece of black and white artwork.
Cross country
The Currabubula cross country was run on Friday, May 20.
All students ran extremely well, exceeding their personal best times.
Congratulations to Ethan Campbell, Beau Dallas, Kayne Campbell, Charlee Marshall, Alex Nibbering, Kitty Compton, Seth Campbell, Phebe McNamara, Heath Campbell, Riley Morgan, Isobel Bonner, Faith Dolahenty and Alyssa Vincent who have qualified to go onto the Tamworth District Cross Country to be held in Barraba.
