In honour of Mothers' Day, a Liturgy was held on Friday May 6 in the primary hall for all students (K - 6) and their families.
This was a beautiful celebration of our mothers and grandmothers which included a touching slideshow of various children from our school community with their heroes.
A special thank you to Sally Clarke and Amy Willis for preparing such a wonderful, touching Liturgy.
Following the Liturgy, families sat together and enjoyed either a sausage sizzle or a picnic lunch with their children.
Once their bellies were full, the handball tournament began.
Parents and children competed against one another in a first to five challenge.
The atmosphere was incredible and it was great to see parents and grandparents taken back to their childhood memories of handball in the playground.
Thank you to Mrs Mitchell for organising the tournament and the fabulous year 6 children who volunteered to umpire the games.
We would also like to sincerely thank everyone who was able to join us for our special celebrations and trust you had an enjoyable day.
