Blue turned red for the Dawn Service, adorned in a coat of red poppies to mark the special occasion, remembering the poppies of Flanders.
Olivia was dressed as a Red Cross nurse.
Olivia mum's, Emma Nichols, said they were in Tamworth for a miniature horse show, and, after making the coat last year, attended the Dawn Service together, drawing plenty of appreciative words and selfies.
Grandmother, Jeana Mainey, made the coat last year, some of it by candlelight after a storm went through their hometown of Newcastle, to pay tribute to their descendants who had served.
As well as being something different for Tamworth's Dawn Service, the small pair highlighted the important role that not only young service personnel have played in all wars, but the service of animals, particularly horses, and nurses have endured during Australia's war history.
