Police are seeking public assistance in locating a man wanted on an outstanding parole warrant in Queanbeyan.

Steven James Towney, aged 31, was allegedly spotted by police in High Street, Queanbeyan on Wednesday about 12.30pm, the Queanbeyan Age reports.
A foot chase began, however police say they lost sight of the man.
Towney was last seen wearing black shorts. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 30s and with brown short hair.
Police from both the Monaro Local Area Command and ACT Policing began a search for the man on Wednesday.
Police have warned anyone who sights Towney should contact them immediately.
