Junior winner Chelsea Bourke left an impression, performing Wouldn’t it be Loverly in full costume as My Fair Lady character Eliza Doolittle.
Runner-up Lauren Brown was well-received with her performance of Get it Right.
Moree brothers Maverick and Western Mitchell were the sole performers in the junior group section, and entertained the crowd with a ukulele-and-guitar rendition of Count on Me.
Committed local singer-songwriter Danielle Haley won the senior individual section, with 14-year-old Lucy Norcross named runner-up for The Carpenters version of This Masquerade.
Local band Okie Dokie gave an energetic performance of Stand By Me with diverse instruments including piano, ukulele, guitar, trumpet and drums.
Not content with coming runners-up in the senior group, the band’s Gabby and Britt went on to win the section for their rendition of I’ll Fly Away.
Goondiwindi’s Mackenzie Timms dedicated the Duncan Wilks Encouragement Award to her late music teacher.
Guest judges and X Factor stars Jess Dunbar and Matt Price were generous with their time, performing for nearly an hour and taking requests.
The approachable couple also stayed for an autograph session.
Joining previous Superstar winners Stuart King and Jasmin Squires and radio personality Steve McPherson as judges, they had a tough task.
