ON FRIDAY March 18 twenty children from St Nicholas Primary travelled to Inverell to compete in the Diocesan winter trials in hockey, soccer, netball and rugby league.

From this day 15 students were selected as part of the Polding team to compete in Bathurst and Lithgow on Friday April 29.
Congratulations to Tomi Gavin, Angus Wallace, Campbell Alderson and Bailey Betts who made it through to the Polding 11 year old rugby league team; Lucy Hamlin who made it through to the Polding netball team; Freddy Williams, Kilian Apen and Eoin Shepherd who made it through to the Polding boys football team; Grainne Shepherd who made it through to the Polding girls football team; Ben O'Connor who made it through to the Polding boys hockey team; and Abby Wakely, Claudia Rodda, Alexandra Burnett, Isla Maidment and Ashlee Kampe who made it through to the Polding girls hockey team.
On Thursday March 31 we had sixteen children travelling to Sydney to compete in the NSWCPS swimming carnival.
They were:
Alexis French, Molly Smith, Tilani Smith, Alice Fahey, Annabel Kelly, Alexandra Burnett, Maisie Wilde, Rebekah Boschma, Angus Wallace, Mitchel Wilson, Sam Sleeman, Jordan Hamlin, Rex Barwick, Ben Sleeman, Hugh Burnett and Kilian Apen.
We also congratulate Jack Murdoch who was selected in the Polding touch team to compete in Port Macquarie on Friday June 3.
