Primary school students have recently returned from excursions to Coffs Harbour, Bathurst and Lake Keepit, with the Lake Keepit adventure having a focus on team building and friendship.
The three day excursion had many highlights for the Year 4 students, including the giant swing, archery and kayaking.
But the mud run was a favourite, with the students competing in small teams across an obstacle course literally dripping in mud.

The teachers say there was a lot of laughing, encouragement and cheering with the end result a lot of muddy little bodies and a great story to take home with lots of smelly shoes.
Meanwhile Year 7 Calrossy boys went over the range to Coffs Harbour and took on a challenge of a different kind with the East Coast Surf School. There were plenty of wipe outs and even a few cut outs with many of the boys managing to get to their feet and catch their first wave.
This excursion is the start of the secondary boy's expedition program which is founded on the belief that boys grow by experiencing challenges that help them grow in confidence, self-awareness and maturity.
This week saw the Brisbane Street campus virtually emptied of students, with the secondary girls heading off on their annual excursions.
The girls are travelling across the state from Sydney and Lake Macquarie and north to Mount Warning.
Each of these excursions has a particular goal, designed to challenge the girls in their personal development.
The Year 7 girls focus on developing friendships and what it means to be a good friend, while the Year 11 girls focus on leadership.
The adventures didn't stop there at Calrossy.
In between Easter celebrations and the science and engineering challenge last month the counting has been finalised from the Calrossy Cracker. The school handed over a cheque for just under $9,000 to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter last Friday. The lifesaving rescue service was chosen by Calrossy's combined P & F to be the recipient of all the gate takings and a quarter of the net profit from the night. It's estimated around 4000 people enjoyed the spectacular fireworks, rides and market stalls, while helping keeping the Westpac chopper in the air.
Calrossy sends a big thankyou out to all sponsors and families who helped make the carnival a success.
