The final figures are in and Calrossy handed over the gate takings and a quarter of the net profits to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service in Tamworth.
It was estimated around 4000 people converged on the William Cowper Campus for a night of fun, with rides, market stalls and a colourful fireworks display as the finale.
The gold coin donations taken on entry delivered $4014 for the Westpac chopper.
Meantime, the helicopter service was also given a quarter of the profits from the night, with a quarter also going to each of the primary, secondary boys and secondary girls P & F Associations.
The bottom line saw a cheque of $8702.32 handed over to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
The Calrossy Cracker Carnival is the brainchild of Calrossy's combined P & F, which raised a similar amount for the chopper service last year.
