Taste in the Park, an initiative of Tamworth Regional Council, brought together 50 stalls from across the region and beyond to peddle their tasty fare and other handmade products.
The event was a popular one, with visitors and locals converging on the park before the opening time to soak up the atmosphere and to, enjoy the fruits of the region’s producers under the shade of the park’s trees.
Taste in the Park is part of the Taste Tamworth Festival, which runs from April 1 to10 with a Farm Gate Trail running throughout the festival, Flavours On Fitzroy on Thursday, and The Long Lunch next Sunday.
