They have been very busy planting a variety of seeds in the greenhouse; carrots, beetroot, broccoli, cauliflower, snow peas, red onions, cabbage, spring onions, radishes and peppermint which have already started sprouting.
We are lucky to have watermelon and rockmelon still growing from last year.
The herb garden is also a project in the making where basil and rocket have been growing and being sold to the staff and used in the canteen.
The Green Team spend lunchtime on Tuesdays and Fridays gardening and working on the various projects we have happening here at school.
We are very excited to be getting a foul coupe in the holidays and house a family of fouls that will be on show and represent our school on weekends.
A fruit orchid is also being planted over the holidays and we wait in anticipation for the fruit that will be grown.
Well done Mrs Quayle, Year 5 and The Green Team
