The students and staff all had the opportunity to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow.
The students all lined up on the first day and some had trouble just pulling back the string.
By the second day all students had limbered up and we had arrows hitting targets and some hitting the grass over the targets.
By the third day the students were popping balloons on targets.
The program was a highly successful one, and all students have come away with the knowledge to become safe and successful archers.
Clean up Australia Day
All students participated in the schools clean up Australia Day on Friday March 4.
The students split up into three groups and walked an area of the town collecting any rubbish lying around.
The students and staff were quite amazed at how much rubbish was collected, as the town always seems very tidy.
Well done to all students, who took the job very seriously and as a result Currabubula is a tidier place.
Blandford Horse Sports
Joanne Tuckwell represented Currabubula PS in the Blandford Horse Sports recently.
She had a great day and returned with the encouragement medal and some saddle cleaner spray. Well done Joanne.
