They will represent the North West at the state swimming carnival in Homebush in April. Holly and Katie will also be joined by Emily Walmsley and Grace Ranken from Spring Ridge in the Liverpool Plains small school junior girls’ relay.
The relay team came third overall at the regional carnival and will also represent the North West at the state carnival in April this year. Brad and Jake swam outstanding races in their freestyle and Ned joined with Jake and two other boys in the Liverpool Plains small school junior boys’ relay to swim a great race.
Our Willow Tree relay team did exceptionally well in the Peter Dobson Relay. Holly, Emily, Katie and Bella swam against teams of much older students but still finished fourth in their heat.
Well done to everyone on their participation and sportsmanship shown throughout the day. It makes us very proud to have such positive feedback.
