The Tricolours are holding Come & Try Days today and next Friday from 4.30 to 5.30pm at Viaduct Park.
The sessions will consist of skills and drills followed by a family-friendly barbecue.
Coaches, committee members and NSW Rugby staff will be on hand to answer questions, and players can also find out how to register for the 2016 season which commences on Sunday May 1 at Walcha.
The Tricolours are also excited to announce their modified U6s program will be run in conjunction with Thursday afternoon training.
Children in this age group can come along to training and learn about the game with designated coaches.
The club is supported by the two Tamworth senior teams – Magpies and Pirates – and, over the season, juniors will train regularly at Pirates’ home ground, Chillingworth Oval.
Training is on Thursdays from 4.30pm to 5.30pm for U6s and U8s and to 6pm for U10s, U12s and U14s, and will commence for 2016 on Thursday April 17, with that first session to be held at Viaduct Park.
Each competing town-team hosts one carnival in the season.
They are a great social day out for the whole family with players getting three to four games a carnival.
The Tricolours’ carnival will be held on Sunday June 26.
