Tane Chatfield and Darren Brian Cutmore remain bail refused, while Kara Symington and Aliethea Cutmore are on conditional bail, all charged in connection to a violent home invasion in Armidale on September 5.
DPP solicitor Sue Hynes said more time was needed before a committal hearing.
“Negotiations are continuing in relation to Kara Symington and Aliethea Cutmore,” she told the court.
Darren Cutmore’s solicitor, Frank Falcomata, said he had a waiver of committal ready to go.
“I’m instructed to tell the court we’re ready to commit today,” he said.
Symington’s solicitor, Clive Sharkey said he would argue there was no case against his client on the charge at a committal hearing.
“I may make submissions on the inadequacy of the evidence in the brief,” he told the court.
Magistrate Michael Holmes granted one final adjournment to March, and said it was “in the interests of justice” that the matters “are committed together”.
Symington was also fined $300 after pleading guilty to driving with an illicit drug in her system, last year.
The court was told the “problem is ice” and Mr Sharkey said it was a case of his client being involved with people who were affected by the drug.
“She was in custody for four months,” he said.
“She now tells me she doesn’t take drugs.
“She’s endeavouring to straighten her life out.”
Mr Holmes imposed a fine and ordered Symington off the road for three months.
“This is a concern, the number of people driving around with ice in their system,” he said.
