A community partnership agreement has been signed, giving NIAS the opportunity to use the school’s accommodation and sporting facilities, and offering PLC’s coaches the chance to access NIAS programs.
PLC principal Nicola Taylor said it would also be a chance for the school to promote itself to a new audience. The agreement has already swung into action, with PLC Armidale the venue for NIAS’s inaugural Coach the Coaches presentation evening last weekend featuring former NRL Canberra Raiders captain Alan Tongue.
The next opportunity for PLC Armidale to showcase its facilities through the partnership will be later in the month, when it hosts the first NIAS netball weekend training camp.
