Oshae Tuiasau, David Shillington and Matt Robinson called into tiny Timbumburi school to conduct a special health and wellbeing session with the enthusiastic students.
The children knew the Titans’ mascot was Blade, and they found out a few key statistics such as the players having eight hours’ sleep a day, compared to the 11 hours suggested for the students.
The trio also visited schools at Currabubula and Werris Creek and had a junior coaching clinic at Werris Creek’s David Taylor Park.
Three other Titans – Nathan Friend, Jed Cartwright and Karl Lawton – made similar school visits in Quirindi and ran a clinic at Quirindi’s No 1 Sportsground.
Today the six Titans hit Gunnedah, Boggabri, Curlewis and Mullaley for similar sessions today as part of an estimated 40,000km Community Carnival tour through the nation visiting more than 1000 schools and holding almost 100 junior rugby league clinics.
