This letter could possibly be the solution to my woes regarding the Tamworth Regional Council (TRC), as the Local Government Minister, Paul Toole, visits our city to attend meetings of the Namoi councils joint organisation today.
If Mr Toole has the time to peruse this letter, he may be able to gauge the folly that the TRC has pursued.
I must continue to harass this group of supposedly intelligent humans of the TRC regarding the expenditure of the Kable Ave non-essential project.
However, it is now too late to abandon the debacle, due to its near finalisation.
Why does the TRC spend thousand of dollars on structures that supposedly will be used by a minority of the region’s population?
Will the sick, the lame, the elderly utilise this amenity?
The dollars that were wasted to pioneer this extravaganza could well have been allocated to the said above group and others in dire need of medical facilities – apart from the “new” understaffed hospital!
Do we have anyone (who disagrees) with this logic?
Possibly the Dan Haslam Foundation for the cannabis medical cure for cancer would be a suggestion for council’s expenditure on a worthy cause and could be studied.
