Jade Woods, 20, was arrested by police on Monday after handing himself into officers at Newcastle Police Station.
A warrant for his arrest had been issued by a court last week.
He is alleged to have robbed a pizza delivery driver and a taxi driver in Tamworth in separate incidents on June 13.
During brief proceedings in Newcastle Local Court yesterday morning, Woods lodged a bail application to be released, which was granted by Magistrate Alan Railton.
He will face Tamworth Local Court in September.
Woods is charged with robbery and demand property with menaces.
